I decided I want to make it easier for readers to know what I think about something before they read the description. Let me know what you think!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this so much I want everyone to experience it and talk to me about it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like this a lot and think many other people would like it, too.
⭐⭐⭐ I like this, but I’m not sure it’s a great recommendation for most people.
⭐⭐ I didn’t really like this, but I didn’t hate it, and some other people might like it.
⭐ I really did not enjoy this experience and do not recommend it.
Watch
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything, Everywhere, All at Once | A24 | Written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert
I finally watched this Oscar-winning, meme-spawning, blast-of-a-good-time movie. A middle-aged mother and laundromat owner must come to terms with some things: her daughter is a lesbian, her business and marriage are failing, and she might be the only person in the infinite multi-verse who can stop a rampaging omnipresent evil force.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grey’s Anatomy | ABC
When you’re having a little bit of a breakdown, and you need something to help shut up your brain, allow me to recommend this hospital dramedy. I may have been the only person in the world who had not seen this show, but I’ve watched most of 4 seasons over the last two weeks, which I think puts me in the fan club.
⭐⭐⭐ Bodkin | Netflix
An American podcaster, an Irish journalist, and an English analyst walk into a village pub. Then they blow up the village in their efforts to make content out of unraveling a 20-year-old missing person case. Smugglers, murderers, and nuns, oh my!
⭐⭐ Loudermilk | Netflix
A crotchety Alcoholics Anonymous meeting leader tries to keep his life and his group from falling apart. The only problem is he’s just the worst. I didn’t make it through the first episode.
⭐⭐⭐ Perry Mason | Amazon Prime
One of the original court-room drama series. It may be in black and white, but you can’t do any better when it comes to mildly corny but genuinely surprising mysteries.
Play
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hogwarts Legacy | WB Games
That’s right, we’re back! My latest comfort game and I are on our fourth play-through together. I’m getting ready to write a more thorough piece on this game and what I’d like to see from a sequel. Keep an eye out!
Thanks for reading and don’t forget to leave a like and a comment or send me a note with your thoughts and what you’d recommend next!
